If you want to feel good about how coordinated you are-- then please be my guest and watch my video. I trip over the medicine ball, he asked if I wanted to record it again but I thought no....it'll probably happen again.
In the video I have two sand bags. I had to pull them to one end. At that end there was a 12 lb medicine ball, I had to grab that and run back, set that down, and run back to the other end. I had to grab the sand bags and then pull drag them back. At the end I had to be in a plank position.
Two things: The sand bags were heavier than they look and I have never ever done a plank (they hurt!).
I had to do that four times. This was after a different set of workouts and then after we did some lifting. Which I was really scared to try.
One thing that Beau told me to do when lifting is to lift angry. Think of something that made you super super upset... so naturally I thought of Justin Timberlake being married to someone that isn't me and used that anger to push myself. Once I was able to think angry, it made it so much easier to get the bar above my head and do reps.
Yesterday was a tough one again. It's like I'm surprised every time Beau makes me do something. But I will put it out there....IT'S A GOOD TOUGH. I think people (myself included) really don't like to do things because they're tough. But this is seriously one of the best things ever.
I don't think I've ever told anyone on here but there are two things I love to do: eat and sleep. I never exercise. I don't eat healthy. And yup that's basically it. The only thing that sounds satisfying to me is a Mountain Dew and a bag of peanut butter M&Ms and ice cream. But I'm changing that, with a little bit of help from these guys.
It's not so much that I want to look like I just stepped off a CrossFit competition, but being able to feel better about myself and also (the biggest one) be healthier.
