This morning, I'll be honest, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I was crabby and short and just had a huge case of the Mondays. But after an hour of pushing myself and letting out all that anger and frustration (for who knows what reason) I felt so so so much better! Working out can seriously change your mood, didn't believe it until now!
Today Beau had me doing tons of different things and some that were almost brutal for me, but I feel better for not giving up and just doing it! Every day is a different workout, I honestly never know what to expect. I don't know if he's going to make me run, or do pushups, or tow a truck (haven't done that one yet). We did tons of different things today. One thing that burned was doing what he called a superman. I had to lay on my stomach and then lift my legs and arms up straight. It killed, and then I had to lay on my back and do it too. That killed even more. But the burn felt great after!
Again, never knowing what to expect. He said we were going to do more on the stairs, and of course I thought that we were going to do what we did before....nope. Today I had six 10 pound weights at the top of the stairs. I had to bring them down the stairs one by one. When they were all at the bottom, I had to bring them back up one by one. Then back down, but this time when I came back up I had to skip a step (go every other). Then I had to bring them back up....and you guessed it....I had to skip a step while bringing the weights up.
I don't think I have ever hated the stairs more. And it may have kicked my butt during, the feeling of accomplishment after finishing it all was worth it. I could really feel my heart pumping and I was huffin and puffin the whole time but-- that means that it's working. It means that change is happening and I'm getting closer to my goals!
