Curling Club at Waupaca High School

Waupaca - Waupaca High School has a rich history of curling. It’s a   sport with deep roots in the community.

 

Jan Hanke; curling coach, says she goes to the elementary schools and teaches kids about the sport. Then she notices those students join the team in high school.

 

There are normally 8 people on a curling team, I had 3 of those student show me what the sport is all about.

 

Watching these Waupaca high school students play, it looked so is so I wanted to see if I could put all my new found knowledge about curling to the test.

 

 

 

But, it’s a lot harder than it looks.

 

 

 

I think I’ll leave it to the professionals.
