“This play is about the communication problems that happen when my son gets put into her class and then causes a little bit of a disturbance.”

 

 

There are so many different people that make it possible to bring a play to life on stage. I talked to the stage manager & assistant director about all the behind the scenes work that happens.

“Getting all the props together that the actors use on stage, getting set pieces, designing the set, making sure that we’ve got everything ready and also making sure we’re taking care of everything like costumes and make up.”

“I really work with all the little things that take place from the stage back into the house. I work with the actors with communication outside of rehearsals making sure all the tickets and programs are printed and making sure everything is running how it is supposed to be.”
