GREEN BAY - Two local girls basketball coaches have stepped down.
After just two seasons, Tom Tomaszewski has resigned from Green Bay Preble, while Jamie Betters of Oneida Nation has stepped down after three seasons.
In two years, Tomaszewski was 23-24, including 16-8 during his first year when he had the good fortune of coaching Kenzie Perttu, who became the metro's all-time leading scorer in girls basketball with 1,626 points. Tomaszewski previously was an assistant at Freedom.
Meanwhile, Betters was 55-15, including a 21-4 mark this season.
